After graduating from the Department of Printmaking at Hongik University (2007), KIM (b.1983) moved to Japan to study abroad and presented works in Korea, Japan, and the United States.
After returning to Korea (2017), she has been presenting works using various media, including painting, printmaking, and installation, starting with a solo exhibition held at Museum SAN (Wonju, Korea). Her work is held in major collections including the Kochi Prefectural Museum of Art (Japan), the RISD Art Museum(US), Museum San(Korea), the Korean Art Bank, Seattle City Hall(USA), and the National Center for Culture and Arts, Bangkok(Thailand).
