Dubai based, Mumbai-born Akshita Lad’s sense of aesthetics developed in her childhood through family holidays visiting museums and palaces, seeing works by great Masters like Da Vinci, Monet, Michaelangelo, Raphael and Rembrandt.

Akshita aspires to create timeless artworks that through her signature colour-blending style elicit a sense of elevated happiness in the viewer. Her natural affinity for colour and texture are vividly reflected in her paintings whether they are abstract expressionist or classical in style.

Through her practice Akshita hopes to bring her audience joy in the experience of interweaving colour and texture.
