Hanoi-based VUONG VAN THAO (b.1969) graduated from the Hanoi Fine Art University (1995) and is a member of He is the member of the Vietnamese Fine Art Association. Vuong participated in Parallel Contemporary Art’s Vietnam Eye (2017) and has received numerous awards including “ Bui Xuan Phai “ Fine Arts Prize, Hanoi Fine Arts Prize, Installation works by Sweden-Vietnam fund for cultural development.

Works from his Living Fossils sculpture series are included in the modern Fine Arts Collection of (SAM) Singapore art Museum and the modern Fine Arts Collection of Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.
