Minjung KIM (b. 1985) studied Painting at Busan National University and its graduate school. Her practice revolves around city construction sites, skyscrapers, and apartment landscapes. She captures the disappearing long-standing scenes and the intertwined daily lives within them.

Through depictions of bustling construction sites with towering buildings and the small figures of passers-by, she portrays the city’s growing landscape amid society’s indifference, highlighting the detachment of humans from it. Kim addresses development issues by observing the evolving cityscape’s impact on its inhabitants’ lives.
