Laiba Raja is presenting The Knowledge of Celestial Conditions, 2022. Part of a series of soft pastel on paper that shows spirits patiently awaiting union with their beloved beyond the earthly plane. This ghostly yet sensitive narrative was inspired by the devotional practices of Sufism which is a branch of Islamic mysticism.
