Exhibiting Artist: Emma Loizides

Emma is a self-taught artist from London, inspired by city life, travels, and the sensations of colour. Her signature style can be found in her candy hued street scenes and energetic urban vistas which evoke escapism. Capturing a moment in time. A stillness.

Emma spent a few years living in Las Vegas which has influenced her work, the American landscape, sunsets, and palm trees often feature in her work. She likes to paint the calm of early morning, capturing the hope of sunrise and the possibilities the new day may bring.

Having always lived in the city, she is inspired by the energy of its skyline, the stillness of architecture and the balance between land and sky. Emma has a keen interest in Americana and takes inspiration from artists Jasper Johns, Edward Hopper and Wayne Thiebaud.

Emma has sold work globally and exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2022.
