Set in the heart of Notting Hill, steps away from the buzz of Portobello Market, Select Gallery offers a range of multi-media contemporary artwork reflective of this vibrant West London borough.
The gallery will show three alternative artists; Jayson Lilley, Gary Hogben and Harry Bunce.
Jayson Lilley works at the forefront of printmaking practices, incorporating painting and gilding into his process. He has attracted much attention with his ‘Pound’ and ‘Dollar’ series appropriating original bank notes. His £5 note ‘Rich Girl’ was exhibited at the RA Summer Exhibition 2019.
Gary Hogben developed his signature style creating collages through the medium of postage stamps. Hogben focuses on iconic portraits and ubiquitous imagery, which further adds to his pop art style. He has featured in Vogue, GQ and House of Coco.
Harry Bunce’s work with screen printing gurus Screen One (Banksy & Nick Walker) has been described as ‘Potter meets Tarantino’. Cute? Maybe, but seldom solely cuddly.
