Popularly known as Frog King, this Hong Kong based artist has, over the past 50 years, produced numerous conceptual multimedia works such as performance, installations, sculptures, paintings and photographic works at more than 5,000 art events globally since 1967.

His ‘Great Wall Project’ (1979)was created at what was considered the beginning of performance art in China. Since 1980, Frog King has been using the ‘Art is Frog’ concept to create his works, exploring multi-dimensional and mixed media to develop his style.

His creativity has evolved from 2D paintings, reliefs, sculptures, environments, time happenings to live art, and returned to the free spirit of an ‘ordinary heart’.Focusing on the ideas of 'Time as Art' and 'Art as Play', Frog King continues to apply audience interaction, participation and improvisation in order to produce 'One Second Live Art'.

At the 54th Venice Biennale 2011, Frog King represented the Hong Kong pavillion and his work continues to feature in local and overseas museums and private collections.
